News Will Disney's Aladdin Fly Into the London Palladium? The new Disney musical Aladdin is slated to arrive at the London Palladium in early 2016, according to the U.K.'s Daily Mail.

It was reported by the Daily Mail that the creatives at Disney were meeting with Palladium executives this week for another round of discussions that will seal a deal. Representatives for Disney declined comment to Playbill.com.

As previously announced, Disney Theatrical Productions and Stage Entertainment will present the European premiere and second international production of Aladdin in fall 2015 at The Stage Theatre Neue Flora in Hamburg, Germany. The first international production will begin performances in May 2015 at The Dentsu Shiki Theatre Umi in Tokyo.

The Hamburg production will be cast locally in Germany and will be performed in German. Lyrics will be translated into Japanese by Chikae Takahashi, who worked on the Japanese translation for Disney's animated feature film "Frozen," for the production in Tokyo.

Produced on Broadway by Disney Theatrical Productions, Aladdin opened March 20 at the New Amsterdam Theatre. The show features music by Tony Award and eight-time Oscar winner Alan Menken, lyrics by two-time Oscar winner Howard Ashman, three-time Tony Award and three-time Oscar winner Tim Rice and two-time Tony Award nominee Chad Beguelin, with a book by Beguelin.
