Oscar winner Nicole Kidman announced during a post-show Q&A that she hopes to take Photograph 51 to Australia and New York and to make a film version of the play, according to the Daily Mail. The London premiere of Anna Ziegler's play concludes its engagement Nov. 21.

Kidman plays Rosalind Franklin, the woman who cracked DNA, in Ziegler's play about the pursuit of science, love and success. Photograph 51, seen Off-Broadway in 2010, officially opened Sept. 14 at the Noel Coward Theatre on the West End.

In September, Playbill.com reported how the show's director, Michael Grandage, spoke about a possible Broadway transfer. The Tony winner, who will helm Hughie on Broadway in February, had said that plans were still "up in the air." He also mentioned Kidman's conflicting film schedules, with the star tapped for the new John Cameron Mitchell film "How to Talk to Girls at Parties," which begins filming this month.
