Discovered in "American Graffiti" and "The Conversation," Williams made her big break as a recurring character on "Happy Days." That role would be Shirley, the actress' most memorable creation. Since then, she co produced both recent "Father of the Bride" movies and appeared in 1997's "Meet Wally Sparks" as a senator's wife.

After portraying Carmine, Mekka made appearances on "Fantasy Island," "The Love Boat," "Moonlighting" and "Family Matters." He's also given some attention to the theatre, taking lead roles in small productions of Fiddler on the Roof, Two Gentlemen of Verona and The Goodbye Girl.

A hit in its first run on Broadway and a hit in its 1994 revival, Grease takes a '50's nostalgia trip to Rydell High School where squeaky clean new girl Sandy Dumbrowski finds herself in love with bad boy greaser, Danny Zuko. Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey fashioned several "Golden Oldie"-styled hits for the musical, including "Greased Lightnin'," "Summer Nights," "Born to Hand Jive" and "We Go Together."

Williams plays Miss Lynch and Mekka is Teen Angel and the ultra-cool DJ, Vince Fontaine. Tickets are $62-$27. The Wang Theatre is located at 270 Tremont Street. For tickets, call (800) 447-7400.
