News Williamstown Season Adds Tyne Daly, Alison Fraser, Tony Yazbeck and More Tony Award winner Tyne Daly, Alison Fraser, Tony Yazbeck, Brooks Ashmanskas, Becky Ann Baker and Jose Llana have joined the Williamstown Theatre Festival's summer season.

Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest, directed by David Hyde Pierce, will feature Marylouise Burke (Fuddy Meers), Louis Cancelmi (Blasted), Sean Cullen (South Pacific), Tyne Daly (Master Class), Glenn Fitzgerald (The Realistic Joneses), Paul McGrane, Amy Spanger (Elf) and Henry Stram (The Illusion). It will run June 26-July 14.

The preview presentation of Far From Heaven, the new musical by Grey Gardens songwriters Scott Frankel and Michael Korie, and book writer Richard Greenberg, will be staged by Tony winner Michael Greif Jule 19-29.

In addition to Tony nominee Kelli O'Hara (South Pacific, Nice Work If You Can Get It), the cast will include "Far From Heaven" film actor JB Adams repeating his work as Morris Farnsworth, as well as Nancy Anderson (Wonderful Town), Quincy Tyler Bernstine, Brandon Victor Dixon (The Scottsboro Boys), Sarah Jane Everman (Promises, Promises), Alison Fraser (The Divine Sister, The Secret Garden), Chris Hoch (La Cage...), Mary Stout (Jane Eyre), Tony Yazbeck (Gypsy), Preston Martin (Kaasper Hauser), Kate Hamilton, Krystal Lucas-Perry, Charlie Plummer, Michael James Shaw and Alexa Ziziak. 

The cast for Ivan Turgenev's A Month in the Country will include Louis Cancelmi, Jessica Collins, Sean Cullen, Kate Kearney-Patch, Paul McGrane, Jeremy Strong and Elisabeth Waterston. It runs Aug. 1-19.

Bob Balaban will direct Lucy Boyle's The Blue Deep, starring Blythe Danner, as well as Becky Ann Baker (Merrily We Roll Along), Jack Gilpin, Heather Lind and Finn Wittrock (Death of a Salesman). It will run June 27-July 8. Brooks Ashmanskas (Present Laughter), Susie Essman ("Curb Your Enthusiasm") and Lili Taylor ("Six Feet Under") will appear in Neil Simon's The Last of the Red Hot Lovers, staged by Jessica Stone, July 11-22.

The world premiere of The Mountaintop playwright Katori Hall's Whaddabloodclot will feature Tina Benko, Aaron Costa Ganis, Bryan Tyree Henry, Greta Lee, Andres Muner and Kathy Searle. It runs Aug. 8-19.

Also planned is the workshop of the new Imelda Marcos musical Here Lies Love, which has has music by David Byrne and Fatboy Slim, with lyrics by Byrne. Tony nominee Alex Timbers (Peter and the Starcatcher, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson) directs the June 21-24 public performances.

Ruthie Ann Miles will star as Imelda, opposite Jose Llana as Ferdinand Marcos. The cast also includes Renee Albulario, Carol Angeli, Joyelle Cabato, Joshua Dela Cruz, Debralee Daco, Evan D’Angeles, Maria-Christina Oliveras, Conrad Ricamora, Janelle Velasquez and Zach Villa.
