News Williamstown to Get Sneak Peak at Jarrow and Leigh's The Consequences The new Kyle Jarrow-Nathan Leigh rock musical The Consequences will receive a workshop presentation at the Williamstown Theatre Festival Aug. 7.

Obie winner Jarrow (Love Kills, Whisper House, Big Money, A Very Merry Unauthorized Children's Scientology Pageant) penned the book for The Consequences, which features music and lyrics by Jarrow and Leigh (Big Money). The public presentations will take place Aug. 7 at 9 and 11 PM.

Kate Pines will direct a cast that includes Gayle Rankin, Dominic Spillane and Lucas Kavner. Musical direction and orchestrations are by Nathan Leigh.

Press notes for the new work read: "Ripped apart when they were teenagers, Ellie & Jeremy are thrust into each other's lives again ten years later and wonder if maybe they're meant to be together after all. The Consequences is a bittersweet rock and roll love story about the road not taken, dreams not followed, and whether you can start over again."

The production has scenic design by Marianne Ward, sound design by Ben Truppin-Brown, lighting design by Mike Megliola and costume design by Bridget Galvin.
