News Williamstown to Present Free Family-Friendly Musical Trouble Tales (for boys and girls) The musical Trouble Tales (for boys and girls) will be offered free of charge at the Williamstown Theatre Festival beginning July 7.

Described as a retelling of the Pandora myth, Trouble Tales is directed by Erick Herrscher. The free presentation runs on the WTF main stage through July 12. With book and lyrics by Amy Herzog and music by Kris Kukul, Trouble Tales follows Nina, whose "tenth birthday is not going as planned. The cake isn't ready, the most popular guest cancelled and Nina's brother is in the hospital — again. All seems lost when a mysterious stranger captures the attention of Nina and her friends," according to press notes.

Trouble Tales coincides with Williamstown's Kids' Theatre Day – a free event presented by the festival apprentices that includes theatre games and projects – which takes place July 12 at 9:30 AM.
