Stop the World - I Want to Get Off features book, music, and lyrics by Leslie Bricusse. The musical, according to press notes, is described as such: "Set against the backdrop of a surreal world symbolized by a circus, it focuses on 'an everyman' - Littlechap (Matt Wilson) - whose first major step towards improving his lot is to marry Evie (Stephanie Sine), his boss' daughter. The traditional responsibilities of work-home-family that includes two daughters (Lauren Ruff and Sara Sawyer), results in a growing dissatisfaction with his 'lot in life' and leads him into the arms of three women who offer the promise of 'something more' (all portrayed by Stephanie Sine). His life-long search for that 'something more' ends with the realization that the love of his wife has always been the 'something more' he thought was eluding him. A 'Greek chorus' (Kate Campbell, Amy Jackson, Mary Catherine McDonald, and Kristin Katherine Shields) help guide us on Littlechap's journey."

Songs include "Gonna Build a Mountain" and "What Kind of Fool Am I?"

McGinn/Cazale is located at 2162 Broadway, between 76th and 77th Streets. For tickets, priced $25, visit www.iseats.net or call (212) 579-4230.
