"The Glee Project," which kicked off June 5, featured 14 young performers — including finalists Aylin Baramuglu and Ali Stroker — competing for a guest-starring role on Fox's "Glee." Murphy confirmed earlier in the season that this year's "Glee Project" would only feature one winner as compared to last season's tie between Damian McGinty and Samuel Larsen.
On the show's Aug. 14 finale, Jenner covered Edwin McCain's "I'll Be" and followed with an original poem entitled "I'm the Guy."
Throughout the 11-week run of the series, according to Oxygen, "'The Glee Project' contenders [were] narrowed down through intensive rounds of workshops, singing, dancing and acting-based assignments." The season included appearances from Dianna Agron, Grant Gustin, Lea Michele, Larsen, Cory Monteith, Naya Rivera, Amber Riley, Darren Criss, Chris Colfer and Jane Lynch.
Aside from Jenner, the fourth season of "Glee" will also welcome new cast members Becca Tobin (Rock of Ages), Melissa Benoist ("Homeland," "The Good Wife"), Dean Geyer and Jacob Artist.
