PlayBlog Wintuk Blows Into Town with Kids Fest and $1 Million Contest Cirque du Soleil's winter show Wintuk, back in New York this holiday season, celebrated its return with an Oct. 16 Kids Fest. The event featured special performances by Wintuk Hoops performers and offered kids a chance to meet various characters from the show.


Additionally, the company has launched a $1 Million Snow Day Contest wherein $1 million will be awarded to 100 lucky fans if it snows in New York City on Nov. 17, the show's opening date.

Through Nov. 9, fans aged 18 years and older may enter the contest by visiting cirquedusoleil.com/wintuksnowday; 100 winners will be chosen at random, and if snow falls in New York City on Nov. 17, they will share $1 million- receiving $10,000 each.

Wintuk is "playful, musical, and bursts with the energy of the city and the magic of a wonderland. This seasonal story, featuring an international cast of 50 performers from Cirque du Soleil, is back in the heart of New York City to the delight of the whole family." The show will perform from Nov. 17 – Jan. 2. Tickets range from $30 to $115 each, with a special 30% discount for children’s tickets in select categories.
