News Woman Who Cooked Her Husband Opens in London

Alison Steadman stars with Daisy Donovan and Michael Attwell in The Woman Who Cooked Her Husband, a three-actor play written and directed by Debbie Isitt.

First seen at the Royal Court and the Edinburgh Fringe in the early nineties, this is a highly entertaining exploration of jealousy, humiliation, deceipt and betrayal that gives an entirely new meaning to the old adage "the way to a man's heart is through his stomach."

A couple married for nearly twenty years are separated, and the husband is in the arms of another woman. A casual invitation to dinner from his former wife seems innocent enough - but the new lovers are unaware of what delicacies she has on the menu.
