The 7:30 PM performance and chat is presented as part of the "Lyrics & Lyricists Downtown" series. Tony Award-winning director Jack O'Brien, who collaborated with Yazbek on The Full Monty and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, will moderate the evening.

The one-night-only appearance also promises musicians and vocalists who will perform Yazbek's work. Performers will be announced shortly.

A recording artist, vocalist and pianist, Yazbek was Tony Award-nominated for the musicals The Full Monty and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. His latest musical Women on the Verge, based on the Pedro Almodóvar film, was produced on Broadway by Lincoln Center Theater earlier this season. He has released five solo albums and earned an Emmy Award for his writing for "Late Night with David Letterman."
