News Wonderland's Kate Shindle Will Make Feinstein's Debut Kate Shindle, who will return to Broadway later this season as The Mad Hatter in the new musical Wonderland, will perform a concert to benefit the Actors Fund Feb. 20 at Feinstein's at Loews Regency.

Show time is 8:30 PM. Shindle will be joined by music director Jason Howland on piano.

The show, according to the singing actress, is "a collection of songs I never, ever sing for auditions...either because I've had a train wreck with someone trying to sight-read them or, in a few cases, because they're sung so much that you face a potential collective groan from the other side of the table when you answer the age-old question: 'so what are you going to sing?' Expect some tricky piano parts, some Chelsea Studios go-tos, a few stories from the trenches, and just for the heck of it, 'Mad Hatter' from our upcoming show Wonderland."

Shindle added, "I am beyond excited to be part of the Actors Fund series at the gorgeous Feinstein's. The Actors Fund is not just an organization that helps people in the gravest need, but also those with short-term challenges in a turbulent period. Making a living from your art is not an easy path, but thankfully, we have the Fund--some of my best friends and favorite coworkers have turned to them in times of trouble. An hour on a Sunday night seems to me the least I can do to thank and celebrate them."

All proceeds will go directly to the assistance of professionals in performing arts and entertainment in times of need, crisis or transition.

Shindle has also been seen on Broadway as Vivienne in Legally Blonde, Sally Bowles in Cabaret and Lucy in Jekyll & Hyde. The performance has a $40 cover with $60 premium seats, in addition to a $25 food and beverage minimum. Jackets are suggested but not required.

The club is located at 540 Park Avenue at 61st Street in New York City. For ticket reservations and club information, call (212) 339-4095 or visit Feinsteinsatloewsregency.com and TicketWeb.com.
