News Woody Allen, Michael Shannon, Jessica Castain Among Austin Film Critics Association Winners The Austin Film Critics Association has announced the winners of its 2011 awards. Playwright Woody Allen, and actors Michael Shannon and Jessica Chastain are among the recipients.

Allen, who shares playwright credit on Broadway's Relatively Speaking, was awarded Best Original Screenplay for his work on "Midnight in Paris."

Shannon (Ambassador) and Chastain (Othello at the Public), who were both featured in "Take Shelter," were awarded Best Actor and Best Supporting Actress, respectively. Castain also received the Robert R. "Bobby" McCurdy Memorial Breakthrough Artist Award.

Other notable winners include 
"Hugo," which features a screenplay by Red playwright John Logan, as Best Film; Nicolas Winding Refn as Best Director for "Drive"; 
Tilda Swinton as Best Actress for "We Need to Talk About Kevin"; and Albert Brooks as Best Supporting Actor for "Drive."
