News "Working in the Theatre" Marathon Presented June 6 on CUNY-TV CUNY-TV will offer a marathon of "Working in the Theatre" seminars on Tony day, June 6.

Beginning at 1 PM, CUNY-TV (Channel 75, Time Warner Cable in Manhattan) will present four American Theatre Wing seminars featuring a host of 2004 Tony Award nominees. TV viewers can expect to see discussions featuring Raisin in the Sun's Phylicia Rashad, I Am My Own Wife's Jefferson Mays, Golda's Balcony's Tovah Feldshuh, Frozen's Swoosie Kurtz, Twentieth Century's Anne Heche and Assassins' Denis O'Hare. The afternoon will also spotlight the creators of the Tony-nominated Best Musical Avenue Q and the Tony-nominated Best Revival of a Musical Big River. Pia Lindstrom moderates the 1 PM broadcast boasting actors Tovah Feldshuh, Denis O'Hare, Marc Kudisch, Swoosie Kurtz, Rebecca Luker and Lewis J. Stadlen. The 2:30 PM program, moderated by Lonny Price, features Avenue Q's Robert Lopez, Rick Lyon, Jeff Marx, Robyn Goodman, Jeffrey Seller and Jeff Whitty. American Theatre Wing's Howard Sherman hosts the 3:30 program, featuring Anne Heche, Jefferson Mays, Martha Plimpton, Phylicia Rashad and Richard Thomas. The final offering, at 5 PM, will include Big River's Jeff Calhoun, Phyllis Frelich, Tyrone Giordano, Todd Haimes, Daniel Jenkins, Bill O'Brien; Ted Chapin moderates.

The "Working in the Theatre" seminars, the acclaimed series that presents major theatre personalities discussing their craft, were created by the late American Theatre Wing Chairman Isabelle Stevenson.
