Wanda's World, the new musical for the younger set, has extended its limited world-premiere engagement through Feb. 10.

Originally scheduled to run through Feb. 3, Wanda's World has extended an additional week of performances. Amas Musical Theatre and Terry Schnuck present the musical penned by Beth Falcone and Eric H. Weinberger, which is set to begin previews at the 45th Street Theatre Jan. 16 and officially open Jan. 23.

Tony nominee Lynne Taylor-Corbett directs a cast that includes Sandie Rosa as Wanda, Lakisha Anne Bowen, Jennifer Bowles, Michael Dexter, James Royce Edwards, Leo Ash Evans, Devin Ilaw, Heather Jane Rolff, Christine Scharf, Chris Vettel and Valerie Wright.

Joining Taylor-Corbett on the creative team are Douglas Oberhamer (musical direction), Beowulf Boritt (set design), Aaron Spivey (lighting design), Brett Jarvis (sound design) and Matthew Myhrum (video design).

Featuring music and lyrics by Beth Falcone with a book by Eric H. In her fantasy life Wanda creates her own talk show where she helps other kids solve their problems.
