Off-Broadway News World Premiere of Cameron Darwin Bossert's Television Set at The Wild Project via Thirdwing

The new piece explores the effects of mass media with a story about a family tasked with filling the airwaves of a small-town TV station in 1959.

Following its success last season with Burbank, Thirdwing has revealed it will present the world premiere of founder Cameron Darwin Bossert's Television Off-Broadway at The Wild Project. Performances begin April 6 ahead of an April 12 opening night, with the run continuing through April 22.

The new work centers on a small-town TV station in 1959 that loses its CBS affiliation. Faced with dead air, one talented family steps in to fill the airwaves with new content in this exploration of mass media and its ability to both connect and separate us.

Starring will be Ginger Kearns, Aprella Godfrey Barule, and Cian Genaro. Additional casting is to be announced.

Bossert will direct, leading a creative team that includes costume designer Yolanda Balaña and sound designer Deeba Montazeri. Lauren Arenson is producing.

Tickets are available at ThirdWing.info.
