"Is Sigmund Freud going crazy?" ask press notes for Freudian Slips. "Obsessed with a beautiful female patient, he dreams of killing her lover. Falling in love proves a major distraction for Freud while he prepares to duel his rival, the mad Dr. Otto Brotto, for the very survival of psychoanalysis."

Freudian Slips has set designs by Lara Fabian, lighting design by Travis McHale, costume design by Neville Bean and Nancy Nichols, with musical composition and sound design by Margaret Pine.

Playwright Marvin Lifschitz has penned Eternal Life and the screenplay "The Evil Inclination." He is a licensed psychoanalyst and is the author of two books on psychotherapy and psychoanalysis.

Tickets, priced $20, are available by phoning (212) 868-4444 or by visiting www.smarttix.com.

The Abingdon Theatre Company is located at 312 West 36th Street in Manhattan.
