News World Premiere of The Harvest Begins Tonight The LCT3 production of Samuel D. Hunter’s newest work begins previews Off-Broadway.

Performances begin October 8 for the world premiere of Samuel D. Hunter's The Harvest, directed by Davis McCallum. The production from LCT3/Lincoln Center Theater features Gideon Glick, who starred in the Broadway-bound Significant Other.

The cast also features Scott Jaeck, Leah Karpel, Madeleine Martin, Peter Mark Kendall, Christopher Sears and Zoë Winters. Performances are set to run through November 20 at the Claire Tow Theater. Opening night is scheduled for October 24.

The Harvest was commissioned by LCT3, Lincoln Center Theater’s programming initiative dedicated to producing new works. The play follows a group of young missionaries in Southeastern Idaho who are preparing to go to the Middle East. Among them is a young man with a one-way ticket, played by Kendall, whose plans are derailed with the arrival of his estranged sister, played by Karpel.
