The Mystery of Attraction centers on a down on his luck Los Angeles area attorney and his policeman brother who struggle to free themselves from the attractions of underage girls, gambling, drugs, violence and each other's wives. Director Jeff Cohen (Four) helms a cast that includes Richard Bekins (Love! Valour! Compassion!), Deirdre O'Connell and Barry Del Sherman. The design team includes Marion Williams (set), M.L. Geiger (lighting), Veronica Worts (costume) and Paul Adams (sound).

Playwright Meyer has written such plays as Etta Jenks, Kingfish, The Chemistry of Change and Moe's Lucky Seven — which won her the 1993 Susan Smith Blackburn Award. She has worked as a writer and supervising producer for the CBS television show "Now and Again" and is currently producer and writer for NBC drama “Law & Order: Criminal Intent.”
