Paul Dick's new play, Wuthering Heights: A Romantic Musical, premieres Oct. 23 at the Mint Theatre in New York City.

Produced by Passajj Productions, Dick's new work is based on Emily Brontë’s tale of love and obsession. The classic story about the destructive power of love and obsession inspired the film featuring Laurence Olivier and Merle Oberon.

Starring in the Heights cast are William Thomas Evans (The Scarlet Pimpernel, Camelot and Jekyll & Hyde), as well as Jennifer Featherston, and Christian Stuck. Darin Adams, Lyssandra Cox, Patti Davidson-Gorbea, Christine Long, Scott McGowan, Larry Rogowsky, Laura Sweitzer, John Taylor and Danny Wiseman are also featured.

Author Paul Dick is a NYC-based composer and lyricist whose oeuvre includes Moses, My Love, O’Casey’s Knock, Cybele: A Musical, (based on the award-winning film "Sundays And Cybele"), Madame Bovary and White Widow, all of which have been produced at the Judith Anderson Theatre.

David Leidholdt directs Heights, and Peter C. Mills was musical director. Sets for the show are by David Martin, lighting by Frank Dendato III and costumes by Robin I. Shane Wuthering Heights runs Oct. 22-Nov 7 at the Mint Theatre, located at 311 W. 43rd Street (off Eighth Avenue). Shows are scheduled Wed, Fri. and Sat. at 8 PM, Thur. and Sat. at 2 PM, and Sun. at 3 PM. Tickets are $12 and are available through TicketCentral at (212) 279-4200.
