Wysandria Woolsey stars in the Maine Music Theatre's summer production of Willy Russel's Blood Brothers, playing at the Crooker Theatre Aug. 3-14. Bruce Lumpkin directs.
Woolsey most recently appeared on Broadway in the ensemble of Parade. Other Broadway credits include Beauty and the Beast, Aspects of Love, Chess and playing Carlotta in The Phantom of the Opera. In Blood Brothers she takes the role of poverty-stricken Mrs. Johnstone, who separates twin brothers in order to give one a better life with the rich family for whom she works.
Also in the cast are Ken Barnett (Eddie), Jennifer Rae Beck (Linda), Robert Browning (Mr. Lyons), Elizabeth DeLaBarre (Mrs. Lyons), John-Charles Kelly (the Narrator), Dennis R. St. Pierre (Sammy) and Jeremy Webb (Mickey).
