The York Theatre Company's Spring 2001 Developmental Reading Series continues 7:30 PM May 7 with a free public presentation of the new musical comedy, The Lady in Penthouse B. Tovah Feldshuh and Liz Callaway are featured in lyricist librettist Peter Napolitano and composer Matthew Ward's "musical comedy fairy tale" in which "animals sing, furniture dances and dreams come true." The show concerns a struggling actress who suffers indignities as assistant to the insufferable gossip columnist, Lady Susan.

The York Theatre presents at The Theatre at St. Peter's in the Citicorp Center at Lexington and 54th Street in Manhattan. For reservations, call (212) 935-5824 ext. 24.
