The show is created and performed by operatic tenor Chris Cain and baritone Adelmo Guidarelli, who call themselves the "bad boys of opera." Mike Wills directs. The show follows the pair "as they musically slapstick their way from the cafes of Paris to the hills of Arkansas and don Yankee uniforms and perform Gilbert & Sullivan in this hilarious evening of classically-styled comedy," according to a release.
The show plays Dec. 5, 12, 19 and 26 and 31 at Saint Peter’s Theatre on 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue. For tickets, priced $30, call (212) 935-5820 or visit www.yorktheatre.org.
