Plaid Tidings presents a holiday twist on Forever Plaid, featuring standards such as "Jingle Bells," "’Twuz the Night B4…," and "The Dreidel Song." The show follows four male singers who are killed in a car crash during the 1950's but return to earth for the posthumous chance to fulfill their dreams. According to press notes, it will feature "audience favorites like their riotous three-minute version of “The Ed Sullivan Show”—this time featuring the Rockettes, the Chipmunks, and the Vienna Boys Choir—and a Plaid Caribbean Christmas which puts the "Day-O" in "Excelsis!"
Forever Plaid is an Off-Broadway musical written by Ross that has been performed internationally since its 1990 debut.
