Braff, a cast member of TV's "Scrubs" and the author-director-star of the 2004 film "Garden State," penned the dark comedy about a depressed bachelor who runs to Long Beach Island in the dead of winter to "celebrate" his 35 birthday alone. Plans go awry when a handful of strangers show up at the door.

Peter DuBois, who staged the Off-Broadway production, will return for the U.K. engagement that will play the Manchester Opera House (Feb. 8-11, 2012), the King’s Theatre in Glasgow (Feb. 14-18, 2012), followed by a ten-week London run at the Duke of York Theatre beginning Feb. 22, 2012.

Braff will take on the central role of Charlie, which was originated Off-Broadway by Justin Bartha. Additional casting for the U.K. production has not been announced.
