We proudly work in support of Carnegie Hall’s unrivaled music education and outreach programs that annually serve over half a million children nationwide, and are currently accepting applications for new team members who have the PASSION and CONVICTION required to contribute to our ongoing success.


We are seeking candidates who are charismatic, reliable, persistent and enthusiastic for this critical mission. You must also be able to successfully apply our proven strategic approach confidently and naturally, and MUST be receptive to ongoing coaching. This is a SALES position, NOT a customer service job. You need to be able to turn NO's into YES's and have what it takes to CLOSE SALES!


Requirements:


BACKGROUND IN THE PERFORMING ARTS/MUSIC REQUIRED, sales and/or telemarketing experience preferred


If hired, you MUST:


*Be available for paid training on Wednesday, February 19th, from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM, AND on Thursday, February 20th, from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM (both days)


*Begin calling immediately


*Be able to work a minimum of 16-20 hours per week


Shifts are 4 hours in length and take place:


Monday-Thursday evenings from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM, and


Friday-Saturday mornings from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM


(Flexible scheduling is available week to week within those parameters)


*Have basic computer literacy and a professional/friendly phone manner


NO COLD CALLING! You will be calling Carnegie Hall audience members and donors.


Compensation: BASE + COMMISSION + BONUSES (Callers on average earn $19 per hour. Callers exceeding expectations earn $25 per hour or more.). In addition, access to see some of the world's top orchestras rehearse, and comp tickets for select Carnegie Hall performances!
