Except Mr. Dickinson, a new play by August Nigro, directed by Jonathan Fluck, and produced by the 15^th Street Quaker Meeting (Manhattan) is casting two roles.

John Dickinson: 30s; 6’+ tall. An ex-Quaker; serious nature. Actors of all ethnicities encouraged to apply.

Polly Dickinson: 30s; John Dickinson’s Quaker spouse & equal; grounded, solid character. Will also play a male role in the piece. Actors of all ethnicities encouraged to apply.

Except Mr. Dickinson is a drama set in Philadelphia in 1776. Basic Equity Showcase Code, pending. Playing October 14 - 22 in Manhattan. Rehearsals begin September 7. Initial auditions on Zoom Tuesday August 9 from 7:30 – 9:30pm; callbacks in person the following Friday. Equity & Non-Equity. Stipend for the production is $500.
