BIGAIL Murambe - Female, late 20s/ early 30s - black, Zimbabwean national news anchor and mother. Abigail is an educated, ambitious, member of the upper-middle class. She discovers that her philandering husband has given her HIV. Familiar with the Shona language and pronunciations and has the ability to speak English with a Zimbabwean accent. A variety of roles, ranging from a witch doctor to a prostitute.

NIA - Female, 19-year-old, black, free-spirited poet from crime-ridden, South Central Los Angeles. Nia's ambitions are all tied to her basketball-star boyfriend, Darnell. She discovers that Darnell has given her HIV. A variety of roles, ranging from a stern, group home counselor to a "thotty" trans woman.
