Manhattan Theatre Club (MTC), a Tony Award-winning nonprofit theatre dedicated to the production of contemporary plays and musicals, seeks a Capital Campaign Coordinator. For fifty years, MTC has been the creative and artistic home for America’s most gifted theatrical artists, producing works of the highest quality by American and international playwrights. We are strongly committed to producing work that is made by, and tells the stories of, a wide range of voices from all walks of life and to making that work accessible to all audiences including those that have historically lacked access to the arts and cultural sector. MTC produces eight plays annually in Broadway's restored Samuel J. Friedman Theatre on West 47th Street and off Broadway at the historic NY City Center complex on West 55th Street.Summary Description:
The Individual Giving Manager serves as one of the primary contacts for MTC’s charitable donors, whose gifts comprise the bulk of the organization’s annual contributed income. This person is a frontline fundraiser who spearheads and facilitates efforts to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward prospects. The Manager also collaborates with the Individual Giving Associate to grow and strengthen MTC’s entry level giving program, “Friends of MTC,” drives the overall gift renewal process, is the main point of contact for Young Patrons and helps to maintain the high level of customer service delivered through MTC’s Patron Hotline, Concierge line and email inboxes.Job Responsibilities:

o Maintain and grow a robust Young Patron program that acts as a pipeline for the next generation of MTC supporters
Marketing and Communications:
Desired Experience/Skills: 3-4 years of Development experience; Customer service and ticketing experience, as well as familiarity with Tessitura (or similar CRM); Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel; Basecamp (or similar project management tool); DonorSearch (or similar wealth screening software); Slack; WordFly (or similar email building platform)
This is a full-time, in-person position at MTC’s administrative office (311 West 43rd Street, New York, NY). Some evening and occasional weekend work are required. The salary for this position is in the low to mid $60K range.
