Non-Union Auditions for Hair
The Next Stage Rep of Centenary University, will be holding, non-equity open auditions for the 2018 summer stock production of HAIR: The American Tribal Love-Rock musical with a book and lyrics by James Rado and Gerome Ragni and music by Galt MacDermott
Auditions will be held on Saturday, March 24th from 3pm – 8pm in the David and Carol Lackland Center located on the campus of Centenary University at 715 Grand Ave Hackettstown, NJ. The production will be directed & choreographed by Lea Antolini. Housing and meals are provided and a stipend of $500.00 stipend.
CSC is seeking dynamic actors, singers and movers – specifically singers with strong pop/rock abilities. Performers should prepare 16-32 bars of a rock or contemporary song from musical theatre genre. An accompanist will be provided. There will be a movement portion of the audition. Please be prepared to move. No appointment necessary. Performers will be seen on a first come first serve basis.
Hair will start rehearsals July 10th open July 26th and run through Aug 5th, with performances Thursdays through Sundays, in the Sitnik Theater of the David and Carol Lackland Center.
