A Summer of Theater, A Lifetime of Community

Ghostlight Theater Camp is seeking a props designer/manager for their summer season. This position will be responsible for the building and/or procurement of all props and furniture for the two festivals of shows this summer. They will be responsible for the managing of the props budget, in coordination with the Head of Production, and the oversight of a team of props counselors. 

The ideal candidate will have both interest and experience in a wide array of crafts and construction methods, as well as in styles of design, in order to meet the needs of 10 shows that range from new works to Broadway musicals to classic plays, and which are performed in a wide range of spaces from a traditional thrust theater to site-specific works (sometimes in the pool.) 

Starting salary is $2400 for the summer and is negotiable commensurate with experience. Position includes room and board and a travel stipend.
