Interlakes Summer Theatre in the beautiful lakes region of Meredith, NH is seeking to fill two positions for the remainder of our summer season to work on Little Shop of Horrors and Sammy Davis Jr. Live at the Palace.
Technical Director/Carpenter (July 20th-August 29th)
Seeking a technical director to build the set for Little Shop of Horrors and Sammy Davis Jr. TD will supervise two interns to oversee the build schedule and ensure the set is completed in time for tech. TD will ensure all set pieces are safe for actors, crew, and musicians. Puppets for Little Shop have been purchased with the exception of Audrey #2 (hand puppet) which needs to be constructed, so props or puppet building experience is a plus. In addition to building the set, TD will assist with gathering props and set items from the prop/set warehouse, organizing equipment and tools, and creating load-in and strike schedules. TD may assist lighting designer with hang, focus, and light notes as needed. In addition, TD will assist with some prop or set gathering for the children's theatre production of Frozen, Jr.
Sound Technician (July 26th-August 29th)
Seeking a sound technician to set up mics for Little Shop of Horrors and Sammy Davis Jr. Technician will oversee the use of lavalier microphones for Little Shop and handheld mics for Sammy Davis Jr. Technician will set up microphones and monitors for the musicians/live orchestra for Little Shop of Horrors and will set up and operate microphones, monitors, and musical tracks for Sammy Davis Jr. Technician will supervise the sound board operator/mixer to ensure mics are mixed properly for Little Shop and Technician will serve as mixer and board operator for Sammy Davis Jr. In addition to these tasks, technician will also assist with set load-in and strike as needed. Technician will also assist with the children's theatre production of Frozen, Jr.
Payment of $350-400/week. Housing provided. On tech days, two-show performance days, and strikes food is provided.

All technicians must provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination or provide documentation for a religious or medical exemption. Performers are unmasked for all performances. Audience members are socially-distanced in the theatre (kept at a 3' distance) and temperature checks are done for each audience member who comes through the door. Audience members are encouraged to wear masks, though they are not required.
