DESCRIPTION

This staff member will assist with the installation, execution, and maintenance of all sound equipment and serve as sound board operator for varying productions in two theaters, one of which is outdoors. This is an early career position for applicants with growing knowledge and experience in sound. Qualified applicants will have some experience in sound. Experience with regional theater and/or repertory theater is preferred.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

· Assist with the installation, maintenance, and strike of all sound equipment.

· Attend all work calls for as directed by the Sound Supervisor

· Run sound during performances (1-2 productions)

· Perform sound checks and ensure the integrity of all sound elements before each show call

· Perform changeovers of sound specials between performances, as directed

· Maintain and repair sound cables as directed

· Other duties as assigned

SALARY

$14.50 – $14.50 per hour
