ESSENTIAL ALICE

SEEKING:
Dodgson/Lewis Carroll: A real-life figure who wrote the Alice in Wonderland books under the pen name Lewis Carroll.

Lorina/Duchess: Lorina is Alice's older sister, who appears in the story as the Duchess. She is impatient, and easily annoyed.

Queen of Hearts: The tyrannical ruler of Wonderland, who is quick to anger and orders beheadings at the slightest provocation.

Cheshire Cat: A mischievous and enigmatic character who appears and disappears at will.

Alice: A curious and adventurous young girl who falls down a rabbit hole and finds herself in Wonderland.

Mad Hatter/Caterpillar: The Mad Hatter is a zany character who loves tea parties and speaks in riddles. The Caterpillar is a wise and philosophical character.

Fan/Messenger/King: Fan is Alice's childhood friend. The Messenger is a hapless character who delivers confusing and contradictory messages. The King is a timid and ineffectual ruler who is constantly overruled by the Queen.

Mouse/Cook: The Mouse is a melancholy character who tells a sad story about a dog. The Cook is a comically inept character who is constantly making mistakes in the kitchen.
