SPRING MARKETING APPRENTICE
Roundabout Theatre Company seeks a Spring 2020 Marketing Apprentice. This is a full- time paid opportunity that will begin on March 2 and conclude in early to mid-June. The Marketing Apprentice will have the opportunity to independently manage projects related to subscription campaigns, advertising, and direct mail. The Apprentice will also prepare for and help to execute numerous pre- and post-show Marketing events.
§ Marketing and sales reporting
§ Routing internal and external advertising materials to various departments and communicating with outside creative agencies
§ Coordinating pre and post show Marketing events and representing Roundabout at promotional events (ex: BroadwayCon, Broadway Flea Market, etc.)
§ Independent planning and execution of Hiptix parties for young professionals program
§ Maintaining press and advertising files
§ Coordinating strategic outreach for show campaigns
§ Taking part in advertising and marketing meetings
§ Support digital content team by assisting with content creation and social media monitoring
§ Additional projects as assigned
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, working towards a Bachelor's degree, or comparable experience in the field. The ideal candidate for this position will be an outgoing self-starter with the ability to multitask. Experience with Microsoft Excel a must; experience with Tessitura database, Google Suite, online email deployment programs and the Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
