DESCRIPTION

Long Lake Camp for the Arts has been producing wonderful musicals and dramas since 1969 in our four theatres every summer. We are looking to hire our 5th Theatre Director who is equally comfortable with musicals, comedies and dramas. The full dates for this position are from June 20 to August 28. We prefer if you are available for the whole time but we can offer 3, 6 or 9 weeks stays withing those dates. You will be paid and live for free on camp. So free housing (NOT with campers), free food and your laundry done for you. We have free transport for you to and from New York City. Long Lake is located in the heart of the spectacular Adirondack Park (mountinas, lakes and forests) of upstate New York and we offer all performing and fine arts to our creative 8 to 16 year olds. Our campers and staff travel to us from all around the world and America. We offer a non-competitive theatre experience but we also produce some of the finest summer theater productions of any summer theatre program. Long Lake campers love to sing act and dance and relish the rehearsal process, making new friends and developing their craft, they will be a joy to work with. We are a very friendly and supportive community who love the performing arts and welcome you to apply.
