PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS :

We invite performers to submit two contrasting selections. You may use your own own R&B, and/or
soul genre selection that shows off your voice or you may use the materials available
at https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1r72UFCcY5Jg9SLbD4vlc6n3YSaMxAvFT.

Most cell phones will give you high enough quality for your submission. Please film in “Landscape”
(horizontal) mode, from the waist or the chest up. Please submit your video via a link to YouTube or
Vimeo. Unfortunately, at this time, we are not able to take individual file attachments. Your submission
must be sent as a link to a site that is stream ready. We are not able to accept WeTransfer, Dropbox,
Google Drive, or downloadable files at this time. For more privacy, you can mark your tape as
“unlisted."

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN

1-African American, Female Identifying (40-50) - Strong singer, in the style of Tina Turner/Mavis
Staples. Ability to move between Blues and Rock N Roll genres. Must be a mover. Ability to keep up
with simple dance steps.

1-African American, Female Identifying (40-50) - Strong singer, in the style of Anita Baker/Natalie
Cole. Must be a mover. Ability to keep up with simple dance steps.

1-African American, Female Identifying (35-45) - Strong singer, Heavy Tone, in the style of Mahalia
Jackson/Jill Scott. Must be a mover. Ability to keep up with simple dance steps.

1-Caucasian, Female Identifying (30-45) - Strong Singer, Heavy Tone, in the style of Janis Joplin.
Must be a mover. Ability to keep up with simple dance steps.
