Emma Rice's adaptation of Emily Brontë's classic novel follows Heathcliff, who is rescued from the Liverpool docks and adopted by the Earnshaws before being taken to live at Wuthering Heights where he finds a kindred spirit in the Earnshaws' daughter, Catherine. Love ignites, but the two are forced apart, unleashing a brutal chain of events.
