The ninth annual Broadway Backwards concert — featuring male singers performing songs traditionally sung by women and females singing tunes written for men — was performed March 25 at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. The event, which raised a record-breaking $423,182 to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center (the Center), featured performers including
