Highlights From The Iceman Cometh Starring Nathan Lane and Brian Dennehy

Tony winners Nathan Lane and Brian Dennehy head the cast of the Goodman Theatre's Chicago production of The Iceman Cometh. Goodman's artistic director Robert Falls directs the Eugene O'Neil classic in which the ragtag denizens of Harry Hope's saloon await the appearance of traveling salesman Theodore "Hickey" Hickman (Lane), an arrival that always guarantees a good time. This time, however, "Hickey" is sober and not afraid to dispense newfound wisdom to his long-suffering friends, leading to comic — and heartbreaking — results. Stephen Ouimette (Broadway's La Bete, TV's "Slings & Arrows"), Lee Wilkof (the original Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors) and John Douglas Thompson (Public Theater's King Lear, Irish Rep's Emperor Jones) round out the cast of misfits and dreamers.
