News 14th Annual GLAAD Nominees Announced; Four Theatre Categories Nominees for the 14th Annual GLAAD Media Awards, honoring representations of gay individuals in the media, were announced Dec. 12.

Nominees for the 14th Annual GLAAD Media Awards, honoring represntations of gay individuals in the media, were announced Dec. 12.

The annual awards honor the best in journalism, film, TV and theatre. The nominations include four theatre-related categories: Outstanding Los Angeles Theatre; Outstanding New York Theatre: Broadway and Off; Outstanding New York Theatre: Off Off-Broadway; and Outstanding Washington D.C. Theatre. Among the New York productions receiving nominations are the Broadway mounting of Edward Albee's The Goat and such Off-Broadway fare as The Public Theater's Take Me Out, the new Ahrens-Flaherty musical A Man of No Importance as well as Elle and Kilt.
