News   2014 HighTide Festival to Feature Mike Daisey, Harry Melling and Dan LeFranc
The lineup has been announced for the 2014 HighTide Festival.

The eighth annual festival will run April 10-19, 2014, in the Suffolk market town of Halesworth.

Four premiere productions, by Elinor Cook, Harry Melling (the "Harry Potter" series), Dan LeFranc and Nick Payne, will be featured, as well as readings of new plays by Benedict Andrews, Thomas Eccleshare and Chris Thorpe.

Peddling, written and performed by Melling, will be directed by Steven Atkinson. Following its run at HighTide Festival, the production will transfer to New York's 59E59 Theaters, with performances beginning April 22, 2014.

Payne's Incognito, winner of the Evening Standard Award for Best New Play, will be directed by nabokov artistic director Joe Murphy. Following its run at HighTide, the production will transfer to Live Theatre Newcastle and the North Wall Oxford.

Cook, winner of the George Devine Award 2013 for Most Promising Playwright, penned The Girl's Guide to Saving the World, which marks her professional debut. The Big Meal, by LeFranc, makes its European premiere, following its Off-Broadway premiere at Playwrights Horizons.

The festival will also feature All the Faces of the Moon, Mike Daisey's 29-part monologue cycle which played the Public Theater earlier this fall, as a play for headsets.
