Ma's album moved down to number two; his Vivaldi's Cello also remained on the chart, dropping from number seven to number 12.
Three other CDs also debuted on the chart this week: the Mormon Tabernacle Choir's Choose Something Like a Star at number three; pianist Lang Lang's recording of the Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No. 2, with the Kirov Orchestra, at number five; and The Origin of Fire: Hildegard von Bingen, the final album by the medieval vocal group Anonymous 4, at number ten.
Other CDs enjoying sales gains included Anna Nebrebko's Sempre Libera, which jumped from number 12 to number eight, and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir's America's Choir: Favorite Songs, Hymns & Anthems, which re-entered the chart at number 11. The group's Peace Like a River is also on the chart at number 13.
On the classical crossover chart, vocalists Andrea Bocelli and Mario Frangoulis both increased their sales, but failed to loosen Josh Groban's hold on the top spot; they remain at number two and number three, respectively.
