News 52nd Street Project Presents Apples and Oranges, Featuring Matthew Saldívar, Carson Elrod and Tony Winner Frank Wood The 52nd Street Project currently presents Apples and Oranges, The Incomparable Plays. Part of its 2013 Fall Playmaking Shows, the production features the Project's ten-year-old participants in the mentor program who have just begun their theatrical education.

The production began performances Dec. 5 and continues through Dec. 8

Written by the Project's class of Playmakers, and performed by a cast of adults, Apples and Oranges, The Incomparable Plays features Clea Alsip, Farah Bala, Pun Bandhu (Wit), Lisa Benavides-Nelson, Lauren Blumenfeld (The Assembled Parties), Bree Elrod, Carson Elrod (Noises Off, Peter and the Starcatcher), Emma Galvin, Sarah Nina Hayon, Ben Mehl, Genesis Oliver, Carra Patterson (Wit), Natalie Paul, Christopher Randolph (King Lear), Grace Rex, Will Rogers, Matthew Saldívar (Peter and the Starcatcher, Grease), Debargo Sanyal, Stephen Tyrone Williams (Lucky Guy) and Tony winner Frank Wood (Clybourne Park, Born Yesterday).

The children include Raymond Alameda, Adam Alkindi, Joshua Gomez, Tiffany Miller, Ahmed Musa, Kayla Ortiz, Emily Roman, Dimitri Smallwood, Dariana Lugo-Vargas and Kaylee Zambrano.

The directors comprise Megan Cramer, Leslie Kramer, Jordan Mahome, Rick Meese, Danielle Mindess, Don Nguyen, Colette Robert, John Sheehy, Michael Walkup and Kathleen Wise. Patrick Barnes is the composer.
