On April 28 Dolly Parton, who penned the score for the new musical, will be a guest on "Late Night with David Letterman." Parton will chat with Letterman and will also perform her current single, "Backwoods Barbie," a song featured in her new Broadway musical.

Parton and 9 to 5 stars Allison Janney, Megan Hilty, Stephanie J. Block and Marc Kudisch will appear on "The View" May 1. The appearance will include interviews with the stars and composer/lyricist and a performance of the musical's Act I finale, "Shine Like the Sun."
