Cabaret & Concert News 92Y Street Fest to Offer Free Peeks at Broadway Shows October 1 NYC’s 92nd Street Y will host dance, music, and theatre performances.

The 92nd Street YM-YWHA in New York City will host a free afternoon celebration of food, dance, music, and theatre October 1, highlighted by free performances from the casts of Broadway musicals including School of Rock, Cats, Kinky Boots, A Bronx Tale, Beautiful, Miss Saigon, and the forthcoming revival of Once on This Island.

Actors from The Play That Goes Wrong will introduce the performances.

The 92Y Street Fest takes place from noon to 5 PM on Lexington Avenue between 79th and 94th streets in Manhattan. All performances will take place on the mainstage outside 92Y on Lexington Avenue at East 92nd Street.

Also scheduled to take part: performers from the revived Big Apple Circus.

Lexington Avenue between 90th and 91st streets will serve as International Way, a collection of booths representing China, Germany, Haiti, Israel, Latvia, Poland, South Korea, Thailand, and Ukraine, offering food and handcrafts from those countries.

Weill Cornell Medicine and JetBlue are the presenting sponsors. Weill Cornell will be offering free health screenings; JetBlue will raffle off round-trip airline tickets.

Other attractions include concerts, a Ninja Warrior Obstacle Course, fitness demos, health tips for kids, art, ceramics, jewelry, and a raffle.
