News 92Y Will Offer Screening of "My Old Lady" Plus Discussion with Kevin Kline and Israel Horovitz Reel Pieces, the 92Y film series moderated by Annette Insdorf, will continue Sept. 8 with the Tony and Oscar-winning actor Kevin Kline and writer-director Israel Horovitz.

The evening will kick off at 7:15 PM with a preview screening of Kline's new film, "My Old Lady," which was written and directed by Horovitz.

Following the screening, Kline and Horovitz will discuss the film with host Insdorf.

Horovitz adapted "My Old Lady" from his own play. The film, according to press notes, "follows New Yorker Mathias Gold (Kline) to a beautiful Paris neighborhood, where he tries to claim the sprawling apartment left to him in his estranged father's will. But he discovers tenants—Mathilde (Maggie Smith), who was close to his father, and her testy daughter (Kristin Scott-Thomas)—and must find a way to coexist with them."

Annette Insdorf is the director of Undergraduate Film Studies at Columbia University. 92nd Street Y is located at 1395 Lexington Ave. For additional information click here.
