"Biography: Bette Midler" will premiere June 9 at 8 PM ET; "Biography: Liza Minnelli" will hit the airwaves June 11 at 8 PM; and "Biography: Cher" will debut on the arts and entertainment network June 11 at 10 PM. Check local listings. Liza Minnelli, an Oscar winner for her performance in Cabaret, was last on Broadway in a tribute to her late father entitled Minnelli on Minnelli; she returned to New York City's Beacon Theatre with her acclaimed concert Liza's Back! In addition to her Tonys for Flora, the Red Menace and The Act, Minnelli was awarded a special Tony in 1974 for "adding lustre to the Broadway season."

Bette Midler made her Broadway debut in the original production of Fiddler on the Roof. She later returned to Broadway with three concerts: Bette Midler, Bette Midler's Clams on the Half Shell Revue and Bette! Divine Madness. She is the recipient of Academy Award nominations for her performances in "The Rose" and "For the Boys," and her other film credits include "Ruthless People," "Outrageous Fortune," "Big Business," "Stella" and "The First Wives Club." She starred as Rose in the TV adaptation of Gypsy, and will soon be seen in the remake of "The Stepford Wives."

Before launching her movie career, Cher was an award-winning singer and half of the "Sonny and Cher" TV program. She received an Academy Award for her work in "Moonstruck" and a nomination for "Silkwood." Her other films include "Mask," "Come Back to the Five and Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean" and "Tea with Mussolini."
