The Manhattan Theatre Club and American Repertory Theater production of Eve Ensler’s In the Body of the World began performances January 16, with an official opening set for February 6. The best-selling author and Tony-winning performer (The Vagina Monologues) teams up with Tony-winning director Diane Paulus for the stage adaptation of her acclaimed 2013 memoir about Ensler’s experiences of working with women in the war-torn Democratic Republic of Congo and being diagnosed with uterine cancer.
