Pasquale will co-star in “Platinum,” which has been described as “a juicy, inside look at the hip-hop biz.” Pasquale will play David Ross, the Rhames brothers’ childhood friend and the legal counsel for Sweetback Records in the new series, which premieres on the UPN Network Monday, April 14 at 9 PM ET. Others in the cast include Jason George as Jackson Rhames, Sticky Fingaz as Grady Rhames, Lalanya Masters as Monica Rhames, Davetta Sherwood as Jade Rhames, N’Bushe Wright as Max, Tony Nardi as Nick Tashjian, Sarah Manninen as Olivia Ross, Bishop as 2Way and Vishiss as Versls. Steven Pasquale most recently appeared at the Mitzi Newhouse Theater in the limited engagement of A Man of No Importance, where he stopped the show nightly with the rousing “The Streets of Dublin.” Pasquale’s other theatrical credits include Spinning Into Butter, Rumpelstiltskin, The Spitfire Grill, The Wild Party, Miss Saigon, West Side Story, The Light in the Piazza and The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged. On screen he has been seen in “Vanilla Sky” and “Six Feet Under.”
